Bulldog tears Red Bull to pieces in lawsuit

After a long legal battle between the energy drink brand Red Bull and the Dutch coffeeshop The Bulldog, the Amsterdam court ruled in favor of the latter, reports Cannabisindustrie. The court ruled that Red Bull had acted unlawfully towards The Bulldog in their long-running battle over energy drinks.

The conflict between the two parties centered on The Bulldog being prohibited from marketing energy drinks under its name due to the similarity of the brand names.

The Bulldog, represented by Henk de Vries, claimed 49 million euros in lost profits from Red Bull.

Amsterdam court finds Red Bull liable and rules in favor of The Bulldog

The court ruled in favor of The Bulldog and ruled that Red Bull was fully liable for the damages caused by the obstruction of the operation of The Bulldog Energy Drink.
